Butter London Big Smoke

My sister gave me this polish as a gift for my birthday. She knows I love blue polishes and I think she did great picking this out for me! I don't own many navy polishes, actually I think I only own one other navy and that's just a plain creme polish.
Butter London Big Smoke is a metallic navy blue polish. I don't wear metallics often but I think that Butter London does a great job with them. I used two coats in the pictures below. I had to do slightly thicker coats otherwise the polish would start to drag. The thicker coats didn't affect the dry time though.
I really love this color! It's a great polish for Fall too!

    1. I loved it! I wore it for 5 days before I changed it. That almost never happens!

  2. I don't have any BL's yet. It's one of the brands I hope to add to my collection in 2013 :) This one looks beautiful, with so much depth from that shimmer, I'll have to add it to my list of 'maybes'

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful swatch <3

    1. BL is a great brand. I would say that you could pass on most of their basic creme polishes because you'll be able to find a cheaper dupe but their more unique colors and their metallics have all been great for me.

    2. thanks for the tips! I was thinking of getting Fiddlesticks ('cause I'm a sucker for glitters), Victoriana, All Hail the Queen and Two Fingered Salute, which seem like the most interesting/popular to me :)

I know Wallis is a big favorite on the boards, but I can't pull off Olive tones :(
