Black and White Stamping

I just received my Cheeky plates in the mail yesterday (I bought the three pack from Amazon) and I couldn't wait to try them out. I've really been enjoying stamping lately. I love nail art but I'm not always that great at free-hand drawings.
The colors I used were Sally Hansen CSM Lavender Cloud with Finger Paints Black Expressionist over it. The design comes from Cheeky plate B.
I like the design, it looks a bit like an optical illusion on my nails.

Layla Jade Groove

I recently purchased three of the new Layla holographic polishes from AveYou and I couldn't wait to try them out. I bought Jade Groove, Flash Black, and Ultra Violet. I decided to wear Jade Groove first since it's almost St. Patrick's day.
Unfortunately, you really don't see much green in this color. It's primarily silver.
On the plus side, the holographic effect on these are amazing. They are the best holo polishes that I own and they apply wonderfully.
I used Nfu-Oh Aqua Base and NYC Grand Central Station as my topcoat.
These retail for $15.50 and should be available in Ulta by April/May if you don't want to order them online.

Chanel Peridot vs Jessica Iridescent Eye

Here is Chanel Peridot and Jessica Iridescent Eye. Can you guess which polish is which? (You can click on the pictures to make it larger)

These were taken in the shade:

These were taken in the sunlight:

Think you have it figured out? Well, on my index and ring finger I'm wearing Jessica Iridescent Eye and on my middle and pinky finger I'm wearing Chanel Peridot.
Both polishes are wonderful to work with. I used two coats of Iridescent Eye and three coats of Peridot (although I think you could get away with two coats). If you have one, you definitely don't need the other.
Chanel retails for $26 and Jessica retails for $7.50 (plus shipping if you purchase it online) and can be found here.

Jessica Iridescent Eye + Stamping

I just got my bottle of Jessica Iridescent Eye in the mail this week and I put it on right away. I love it! The application is wonderful. I think it's just as good, if not better, than Chanel Peridot (I'll have a comparison post between the two polishes later).

I've been practicing my stamping and I'm finally starting to get the hang of it. I still need more practice and macro is less than forgiving when it comes to taking pictures but I hope you enjoy them anyways! I used my Bundle Monster plates for this design (BM 21) and Finger Paints Black Expressionism.
