China Glaze Magnetix Attraction

I'm loving that magnetic polishes are so becoming mainstream! I think it's a fun way to do some interesting nail art without requiring too much work.
There is definitely a learning curve with these polishes but once you figure them out, they're very easy to use.

Here is China Glaze Magnetix Attraction

China Glaze sells their magnet separately from their polishes. I personally like this idea that way you're not only limited to the magnet on the cap. The designs are a star, chevron, and diagonal lines (The one I used).
I haven't tried the chevron pattern yet but the star and the diagonal lines both work very well.

Zoya Blair with Lynnderella Liquid Valentine

I made my first Zoya purchase back in January when they had a promotion where you were able to get two polishes for free (just pay shipping). One of the polishes I bought was Zoya's Blair.
I'm not quite sure why I picked this polish since I don't ever wear reds and to be honest, I'm usually not very fond of them, but I love this one.
It's dark on the edges and bright in the middle.

Since today was Valentine's Day, I wanted to be festive! I decided to add Lynnderella Liquid Valentine (aka Heart) to make it a bit more sparkly and fun. I love the way it turned out!

Happy Valentines Day!

Essie Navigate Her

I'm a huge sucker for mint greens and an even bigger sucker for Essie polishes, so when I saw swatches of Navigate Her I knew I needed it immediately.
This polish is everything I wanted and more. I love the color. It's the perfect mix between mint green and lime green, making it the perfect shade for Spring.
I used two coats and it applied wonderfully.

I decided to add a few dots as an accent since I hadn't played with my dotting tool in a few months.
The dots are Essie Absolutely Shore and Essie Da Bush. I wanted to do something subtle and I love the way it turned out.

I can't wait to wear the other two polishes I bought from this collection!

Lynnderella Lovey Dovey

Hello! I decided to create a blog so that I would be able to better keep track of colors that I've worn and my thoughts about them. I've been reading nail and beauty blogs for about a year now and finally decided to create my own.

For my first Nail of the Day post, I'm wearing Lynnderella Lovey Dovey over Zoya Neeka

I loved this combo! The colors were perfect together. Neeka was wonderful and it applied like butter.
I love the golden micro shimmers in Neeka, it really adds something extra. The base for Lovey Dovey was slightly milky so it covered up some of the shimmers in Neeka but they were still fairly visible in real life.
Lovey Dovey really surprised me. I liked it in the bottle but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did once I put it on my nails.
